SESSIONS and services
Wellness Coaching is a short-term, highly interactive and collaborative approach towards creating and sustaining your long term Wellness Vision. Although clients may choose to work with a Wellness Coach for only a few sessions, research in behavioral science shows that it typically takes 3-6 months to form new habits and lifestyle changes. To maximize results, clients typically commit to working with a Coach for 3-6 months, during which time weekly goals and action steps are developed to help you reach and sustain your long term Wellness Plan. Areas of focus often include:
- Health and Fitness
- Stress Management
- Work/Life Balance
- Mindfulness and Spiritual Practices
Sessions are designed to help you achieve tangible, long-lasting behavioral change, based on your personal values, motivators, strengths and resources. Sessions typically last 30-45 minutes and can be conducted in person, via video chat, or on the phone.
The initial 60-minute session includes:
- Review of well-being assessment data, which has been completed before the initial session.
- Identification of Primary focus areas for change
- Discussion of Values which guide the change process
- Creation of your personal Wellness Vision
- Identification of 3-month goals
- Creation of Weekly goals
- Weekly action steps
- Weekly email follow-up and support between sessions
All packages and individual sessions include weekly email follow up support. Email includes a summary of action steps discussed during session, relevant links and resources and general support and reminders to help you reach your weekly goals.
